Brookline Ambulance Service is a department within the Town of Brookline dedicated to providing emergency medical services and transportation of the sick and injured.  In the Emergency Medical Services profession, we are considered a 3rd Party Municipal Agency.  Our history can be traced back to the early 1960’s, however the modern history really starts in 1976 when the Town voted $3,000 to fund a 24-hour all-volunteer ambulance service.  Today the Department consists of a full time Chief, a full time daytime Advanced Life Support EMS Provider and approximately 20 Call Members.  The Call Members are compensated when they are responding to an EMS Incident and until they are completed with that incident, covering for the Chief or daytime EMS Provider, or on a Special Detail such as providing coverage at a Fire Department training burn.  We also provide emergency ambulance service to the town of Mason, NH through a Local Automatic Mutual Aid Agreement.

All our Members are Nationally Registered and NH Licensed EMS Providers.  They are dedicated, compassionate people who care about the residents and visitors of Brookline and Mason, NH.  If you are interested in joining the Brookline Ambulance Service or want more information about our service, please reach out to the Chief.
