Community Watch

Founded as the Brookline Neighborhood Watch, Community Watch has evolved from focusing on safety and crime prevention to include interesting topics of discussion and community resources.

Meetings are held monthly.  The agenda typically includes

  • Crime prevention update by a police officer
  • Safety/scam information
  • Safety information from the Fire Department
  • A guest speaker from a Brookline organization or group of interest in town.

Past guest speakers were: John Weidman of the Andres Institute of Art and Dave Fessenden of the Brookline Historical Society, and presentations from the Brookline Emergency Response Team.

Brookline Community Watch meets the third Thursday of every month, 7pm at the Brookline Fire Station Meeting Room, 3 Bond St.  All residents are welcome.

Members receive emails from the Fire and Police Departments immediately when scams/or safety issues arise between meetings. Add your name to the contact list by emailing Nancy C. Reinbold lusabeth@gmail.com
