Daniels Academy lawn update

Over the next couple of weeks you are going to see a lot of work on the Daniels Academy (Town Hall) lawn. First, as part of the water remediation project, two dry wells are being installed to divert water away from the front facade of the buildings. This work will be completed in plenty of time to have the lawn in shape for the American Legion's Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 27th at 9:30am. Secondly, a base is being installed for the American Legion's new monument which honors all veterans. And third, an Eagle Scout project will be the installation of a combination bench/table on the edge of the lawn, providing a place for folks to rest and socialize.
