A Note About Our Trail Maps:

Thanks to help from the Nashua Regional Planning Commission (NRPC), we now have accurate trail maps for Hobart-Fessenden Woods, Melendy-Morrill Woods, Nissitissit River Park & Potanipo Rail Trail, Palmer-Bartell Forest, Talbot-Taylor Wildlife Sanctuary, and Whitcomb-Bross Woods. They are available as downloadable PDF’s from the links above.

We have also added our trails to both ArcGIS and Trailforks online map databases. Both platforms provide free iOS and Android apps that use your device’s GPS location for navigation.

ArcGIS Field Maps is an easy-to-use, “no frills” navigation app that shows you where you are on the trail and in what direction you’re traveling. Click here for a short "Getting Started" tutorial.

The Trailforks app provides basic navigation but also has many advanced features. For example: you can define routes, find the shortest route to get to a specific point (e.g., get me back to the parking lot), log trail conditions, save your activities, and sync your activities to Strava, a popular social media platform for sharing your workouts. You can use the Trailforks app without logging in but to access advanced functionality, you’ll need to create a free account on pinkbike.
