Health Officer

The Brookline Health Officer is responsible for three primary functions:

• Enforce public health laws, regulations, and local ordinances through a process of investigation, education, and resolution.

• To serve as a liaison between state officials, local elected officials, and the community concerning local public health issues. 

• Participates and supports the local elected officials and community members to improve and foster safe and healthy environments for people to live in.
